new york city restaurant guide - overview

As with the number of sleeping establishments New York is well served for eating establishments catering for all tastes and diets not surprising given the large immigrant population and ethnic communities of New York. Dressing casual is perfectly acceptable in most eating establishments but we'd suggest you dress to impress at the more classy restaurants. With so many locations offering breakfast you're best eating out of the hotel. Many breakfast specials offer large quantities of bacon, sausage, waffles, fries, pancakes and maple syrup. When ordering eggs you will be asked which of a wide range of options you'd like to be served including the more well known fried egg choices of sunny side up or easy over. However, if you're more health conscious and the above list is causing a panic don't worry there are a wide range of cafes offering more healthy alternatives to those mentioned above. Aside from breakfast most places offer both special brunch and lunch time menus and restaurants generally serve at earlier hours than one would think for the city that never sleeps. If on a budget or looking for a cheap snack then try bar food & bargain hors d'oeuvres during happy hours.

Not sure what to go for here are a few recommendations but the choice is vast so beware.
