John F Kennedy Airport (JFK) John F Kennedy is the largest International airport serving New York and is approximately 15 miles from Manhattan Island. The airport serves most of the major airlines including American Airlines, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic operating out of eight terminals. JFK is likely to be the airport you will arrive in when taking a short break to New York or taking a flight from London to New York. Transport between the terminals is either by taxi or airtrain.
